Your First Visit

You’ll be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

When you first arrive there will be some brief paperwork to complete.

When first arriving at our office you will find a non medicinal, relaxed, and friendly environment. After signing in at the front desk you will be asked by our friendly staff to fill out a complete health history. While this is relatively easy to complete, you should allow yourself approximately an hour and arrive 15 minutes early before your scheduled appointment. If you have your own x-rays or health information you would like us to review, please bring them with you to your first appointment.

After you have completed your paperwork, you may be asked to view a short 7 minute orientation DVD while we coordinate your information for the Doctor to review. Dr. Collins will then ask you to join him in an examination room in which he will discuss with you your particular problem and health goals. You will then also have a orthopedic/neurological examination.

In most cases you can expect to be treated during this appointment, however, if your case is more complicated and if X-rays are necessary, treatment may need to be scheduled for another day so we can more closely review our findings and provide you with a more informative recommendation for a treatment program that fits yours and our goals. Most of the time this occurs during your first visit to our office. If X-rays are necessary, we have radiological services in our office.

Upon completion of your first chiropractic visit, Dr. Collins will escort you to the front desk where you will schedule your next appointment and receive some informative information if need be.
