As one of Prince Frederick’s longest‑practicing chiropractors, Dr. Daniel Collins makes getting started simple—appointments are often same‑day or within 24 hours; no walk‑ins please. You can find our office in the Fox Run Professional Center; ample free parking is available. Book a free consultation (exam and any care/services performed are billed separately) to get started.
Your First Visit: What to Expect
Plan on spending up to 60 minutes in our office; most initial visits are about a half-hour. After reviewing your history, Dr. Collins will examine you and discuss your medical history. If imaging is needed, we’ll order X-rays or an MRI and review the results at your follow-up visit.
Many patients receive care on day one; if there’s significant muscle spasm, electric muscle stimulation may be used before the adjustment. It’s normal to feel a bit sore after your first adjustment; most people feel fine after later visits. Patients may use cold (not heat) at home.

How to Prepare
Getting ready for your session is easy. On the day of your appointment:
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing; avoid dresses or short skirts for orthopedic testing
- Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and your PIP claim number, policy number, and adjuster contact for auto cases
- Complete our online intake forms in advance and check in 10-15 minutes early; missed appointments without notice may incur a fee

Insurance, Specials, and Payments
We accept Medicare and most insurance plans at Collins Chiropractic Center. We also take assignments for auto accidents and workers’ comp, and welcome HSA cards. Payment options include Visa, MasterCard, and debit. We do not accept Discover or American Express, nor offer CareCredit® or ChiroHealthUSA®.
Military time‑of‑service fees: $100 initial (evaluation + care/first session), then $40 per visit; Medicaid: $100 initial, then $35 per visit. TOS fees cannot be combined with insurance, Medicare, personal injury, or workers’ comp.
We understand that TRICARE does not cover chiropractic care outside the military system, so we’re here to help you obtain affordable chiropractic care. These fees are restricted to TRICARE recipients only who do not have any other health coverage. This offer cannot be applied to Medicare, personal injury, or workers’ compensation cases.
